Sid Glasgow
Principal
Sid Glasgow founded Glasgow Roofing in 1987, with four decades of performance that has established the company as one of Charleston's most respected roofing contractors. His portfolio includes many of the region's most recognizable buildings, and his reputation is built on technical expertise, quality workmanship, and long-standing relationships with top-tier contractors and property owners throughout the area. In co-founding Glasgow McNair Roofing, Sid continues his commitment in the industry while advancing the next generation of local roofers to carry forward the standard of craftsmanship this market has relied on for nearly 40 years.
Locke McNair
President
Locke McNair, President of Glasgow McNair Roofing (GMR), serves to support all field operations, production client relationships, and financial stewardship. With more than 10 years of commercial roofing experience, Locke built his career from the ground-up, starting on the roof as a laborer and working up to foreman with Glasgow Roofing Company before advancing through leadership roles at a top national contractor, where he served as Head of Commercial Service and Repair, and Regional Service Manager for the South Carolina region. Locke has a passion for working with a team to solve clients' roofing issues. He believes the best roofing projects come from listening first — understanding each customer's needs and budget, then delivering a solution that fits. His goal on every project is simple: maximize the customer's investment while ensuring top-tier communication and production from start to finish. Born and raised here, Locke is a husband, avid sportsman, volunteer football coach, and a father of two raising his family in the Lowcountry.
Ty Bell
Vice President, Sales and Business Development
Ty Bell serves as Vice President, bringing sales and management experience to the team. Most recently, Ty drove sales performance for a top national roofing contractor in the Charleston market, where he consistently delivered strong results by combining a strategic approach to growth with genuine, hands-on customer engagement. A Saluda, South Carolina native, Ty is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, where he developed the foundation for his career in business and leadership. Since then, he has built a reputation as a customer-oriented professional who understands that lasting success in sales comes from more than just closing deals — it comes from building personal relationships with the people he serves. Ty's guiding philosophy is simple: always keep the customer's best interest at heart. Whether working directly with clients or leading a team, he brings a consistent focus on trust, integrity, and follow-through to every interaction. This customer-first mindset has become the cornerstone of his professional success and continues to define how he approaches leadership, business development, and team growth today. In his role as Vice President, Ty is committed to bringing that same dedication to relationships and results to every level of the organization, helping drive continued growth while ensuring customers always remain at the center of the business.
